This illustration is based on a drawing I did over 10 years ago. It's an image that keeps coming back to me, so I went for it in a slightly different style. My challenge was not to use any black outlines and achieve a gilded look to the outside line. I love this confident bokkie standing on the protea and I felt the line, "The best is yet to come", is the perfect affirmation for any time in your life.
